Embassy Legalisation

Many foreign authorities accept a document only once it bears the stamp of their embassy or consulate. We submit the documents to the embassy for you, follow up on the procedure and return the finished documents.

Embassy requirements differ in document format, fees and appointment slots. We prepare your documents exactly to the specific embassy's requirements so they are not returned.

Commercial documents — invoices, certificates of origin, contracts and powers of attorney — often need chamber of commerce certification before embassy legalisation. We arrange that too.

If the destination country has no representation in Estonia, we arrange legalisation through that country's nearest embassy accredited to Estonia in another country.

What is the difference between embassy legalisation and an apostille?

The apostille applies in Hague Convention countries. Other countries require embassy or consulate legalisation, usually preceded by ministry certification.

What if the destination country has no embassy in Estonia?

We then submit the documents to that country's nearest embassy accredited to Estonia, for example in a neighbouring country.

Do you also help with commercial documents?
